Network has been monitoring the situation regarding the current government shut down. As government employees miss paydays and the possibility of SNAP benefits running out comes closer to reality, it has become clear that Network's services are more crucial than ever. With people unable to rely on the government for assistance, they will turn to organizations like Network to meet their needs.
In order to prepare for the expected increase in demand, Network is working with the North Texas Food Bank to increase the amount of food we receive. We will also be utilizing designated funds to purchase food items that are not always available through North Texas Food Bank, including dairy and meat products. Lastly, we will bemonitoring for an influx of new neighbors and adjusting our schedule as needed to accommodate higher demand for our services.

In this time of need, you can make a difference by...
– Making a cash donation: A gift of cash is the most impactful way to support Network's neighbors. We are able to stretch your gift so that each dollar provides three meals for families in need. We invite you to make a gift today at www.thenetwork.org/donate
– Dropping off food donations: You can help stock Network's pantry and provide food for families in need by donating food items. Most needed items include boxed meals, canned soups, dairy and meat products, etc. Donations can be dropped off at Network's Food Warehouse located around the back of our building.
– Donating food via Network's Amazon Wish List: If you don't have time to stop by Network, but still want to give back, consider purchasing food from our Amazon wish list and having it shipped to Network at 1500 International Parkway Ste 300, Richardson TX 75081. This is a quick and easy way to make a difference for our neighbors in need.
