Community Christian Church offers ministry online through April 30

Pursuant to the March 23 decision of the Richardson City Council to extend the Dallas County shelter-in-place order for the city through April 30, and the March 25 White House disaster declaration for the State of TexasCommunity Christian Church will be closed through April 30.

This unfortunately means that we will not meet at church on Easter Sunday, April 12. Rest assured that plans are being made to create a special online experience for this important milestone in the life of the church. Also, this year instead of Maundy Thursday, we will have a Good Friday service online at 7 p.m. on April 10. Stay tuned for more information.

We are also excited to announce a new online opportunity for our community to connect. Please join us for Coffee with the Pastor via Zoom at 3 p.m. on Tuesdays starting March 31. Zoom will allow us to interact via video and audio. All you need to do is click on this link:
https://us04web.zoom.us/j/779563692 and follow the instructions.

Meanwhile, you are invited to join us for Thursday Devotions (11:45 a.m.) and Sunday morning sermons (10:50 a.m.) on Facebook Live by following the following link— whether you're on Facebook or not:

Each event is archived on the page in case you miss the live broadcast. I have also decided to continue the Thursday Devotions for as long as we are isolated from one another.

The longer we continue to be isolated, the more important it will be for us to find ways to experience community and connect with the people we care about. Please reach out if you have pastoral needs and know that you are all in my prayers as we navigate these unprecedented times.

In Christ,
Rev. Andy Shelton
Pastor
